Emergency Services District No.2 is a political subdivision of the State of Texas.  We serve Bexar County as a taxing entity to support your emergency services such as fire suppression and EMS first response service.  
NOTICE OF TAX REVENUE INCREASE

The Bexar County Emergency Services District #2 conducted public hearings on August 29, 2016 and September 6, 2016 on a proposal to increase the total tax revenues of the Bexar County Emergency Services District #2 from properties on the tax roll in the preceding year by 7.491 percent.

The total tax revenue proposed to be raised last year at last year's tax rate of .098945 for each $100 of taxable value was $5,227,250.

The total tax revenue porposed to be raised this year at the proposed tax rate of .10 for each $100 of taxable value, excluding the tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year, is $5,624,713.

The total tax revenue proposed to be raised this year at the proposed tax rate of .10 for each $100 of taxable value, including tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year, is $6,063,330.

The Bexar County Emergency Service District #2 is scheduled to vote on the tax rate that will result in that tax increase at a public meeting to be held on September 19, 2016 at Bexar County ESD #2, Station 121 Training Room, 2096 Talley Road, San Antonio, TX  78253 at 7:00 PM.

The Bexar County Emergency Services District #2 proposes to use the increase in total tax revenue for the purpose of constructing facilities and purchasing equipment.
